Critical literacy

Critical literacy is when you apply critical thinking to a literary topic.

Bias- having favourites
Source- where you get information from
Credible- a trust worthy person
Authority- where you have the most power and respect
Reliable- someone you can trust and depend on
Perspective- the way someone sees someone
Agenda- your plans for the day
Manipulate- when you convince someone and control them
Text- the Text of the book is the main written part of it
Construction- the construction of something is the building or making
Representation- representation is the state of being presented by someone
Stereotype- a set of characteristics




Drink driving ads-

Ad 1- what happend in the advert- he was drinking coke n the started drinking and had some alcohol and started driving and crashed.

Ad 2- the guy was thinking about if his mate was drink driving he would die and thinking about the negative bits a told him to just crash at the place he was at.
